Abstract: GM is developing an (in part) solar powered Hydrogen fueled car with a big plus, it is fueled at home!

For a number of years Honda has been developing a Hydrogen fueled car with a big plus, it is fueled at home! The draw back is this home based system was powered by natural gas. The obvious draw back to this type of system is that there much wasted energy in converting natural gas to Hydrogen to be used in the car.

But it is reported that GM is developing a home based refueling system that works on solar and electrical energy. Since solar energy is free and substantially more energy can be generated than could be consumed, the cost factor of converting to Hydrogen is no longer a factor.
